One of three victims of a genetic defect within her family that impaired her spinal structure to paralysis from the day she was born, Kyla Larson swore early on to never allow for either her condition or its assistive supports to be her common denominator. In addition to being an accomplished computer programming technician who is credited with a multitude of technological advancements, Kyla has also found success as a lieutenant officer for the Miami-Dade police force.
